When It Goes Black

I get a lot of questions about wardrobe. Every now and then it's nice when a family wants to take the focus off their clothes and just go in one color completely, particularly white or black. As you might guess, all black is not a wardrobe choice picked by most families, I'm sure the first thought would be that it would be too harsh.

At this session, with the warm light, perfect sky and wind - it was the best choice. I have a deep adoration for images that highlight what's happening vs ones that pull your eyes in a million directions with color and pattern. I know it's not for everyone but on this day, with this family, the dark lit me up.
