Up until about a year ago I still argued with my husband about golf not being a real sport, I felt strongly that anything that deferred physical movement by providing a golf cart could not call itself with any confidence a "sport" but I've decided that some debates are not worth winning ;)
Its common knowledge in my profession that catholic churches tend to be the darkest and most challenging to shoot - this is why I was so excited to shoot Dan & Sam's wedding - these two are basically models.
I know you'll think I'm a bit crazy, but after years of shooting naturally lit outdoor weddings, nothing tickles me more than a little bit of difficult light. To shoot at a golf course (even one as STUNNING as Talega Golf Course) and dark church and come out the other end with these images was a wonderful way to realize that when connection is involved you can make just about anything look beautiful, even if I still don't think golf is a sport.
